Basil, Tulsi aka Holy Basil

Aka Holy basil. Tulsi is one of my favorite scents and tea herbs in the whole world! Easy to steep in hot water straight from the garden (leaves and flowers) and easy to dry for use later. Harvest often by pinching back taller stems to lower leaves. As with any basil, frequent harvests make the plants grow bushier and fuller and discourage flowering (when the plants put all their energy into the flowers instead of the leaves).
