Salvia officinalis. Gray-green leaves edged in white, with new growth sporting a rosy purple! In summer, it sends up spikes of light blue flowers, delighting pollinators. Great in herb gardens, perennial borders, pots. Full sun. Evergreen. Ht 18in

Sage leaves can be used fresh for cooking and for tea, and for other medicinal recipes (such as mouthwash). I dry sage leaves in a small table top dehydrator for use as seasoning (my favorite with butternut squash) and to add to herbal tea mixes.
