Garden Tour: Kate's Food Forest

Join Marni for a tour of Kate's Food Forest in Everett, featuring an extensive collection of food forest plants including medicinal plants, fruiting trees and shrubs and more. I have worked with Kate since 2001 when she purchased the home and contacted me for help with creating a food forest. She had already started planting on orchard and had built some garden beds. She now has extensive plantings in both the front and back yards on sloped terraces where she creatively built retaining walls from her own logs. This is a sloped lot so please only come if you are ok traversing some slopes/steps. Due to health concerns, masks are required for this event. 

This event is offered exclusively to Growing Roots Together students, clients, and customers. Space is limited to 10-12 attendees and carpooling is appreciated. Actual address and parking info will be emailed to confirmed attendees.
