Brunnera macrophylla 'Silver Heart' (Siberian Bugloss). One of my favorite perennials to brighten a shady spot! Silver heart has adorable heart shaped, metallic silver leaves with striking sprays of deep cobalt blue flowers in the spring. Excellent paired with ferns and hostas. Prefers moist shade to part sun locations. Height 6-12 inches.
Brunnera is a hardy perennial. Leaves will die back during winter. Cut back spent leaves in late fall or early winter before it flowers.
