Calendula, mixed

I cannot walk past calendula blooms without stopping to say hello. There are so many vibrant colors and sunray blooms, but they are all glorious additions to salads and have so many medicinal benefits. 
 
Calendula reseeds itself throughout the growing season and the seed is also easy to save. Just pull off the dried seed heads and sprinkle in other areas of your garden and/or share with friends and neighbors (you might want to do this anyway if you have decided you have enough growing!)
