Camassia quamash aka common camas is a native perennial edible bulb that blooms from April to June. Quart size comes with three bulbs, 4” inch pots have one bulb.
Grow in sun to part sun areas. Common camas grows in wet meadows, wet prairies, swales, depressions, annual floodplains, moist hillsides, and streamside areas. Camas habitat is often ephemeral, drying out by late spring. Can also be used for cut flowers, beds, borders, ground cover, rock gardens, and prairie restoration.
