Currant, 'Cherry Red'

Ribes spicatum 'Red Cherry' is an attractive variety bearing large clusters of juicy, flavorful, translucent red berries which make delicious jams and jellies. They ripen in late July and can become even sweeter and remain in good condition on the bush well into September. Mature size 3-5' - best maintained as a small shrub with pruning. Prefers half day to full day sun.
