Muscari armeniacum, or Grape hyacinth are a spring garden delight with clumping, grass like leaves maturing to clusters of deep blue/purple bell shaped flowering heads in the spring. Great for planting around trees or at edges of pathways. Flowers are edible and also used for flavoring or scent and have a lightly sour grape taste and scent.
Perennial, easy to grow in sun or part sun. Spreading but easy to manage - however, avoid planting in your annual garden beds. Best somewhere where they can be easily dug out if getting crowded and shared with neighbors. Cut back spent flowers and leaves in summer. Good to interplant with other bulbs that bloom later. 3" pot contains 6-7 bulbs
