Arctostaphylos uva-ursi. Popular native and evergreen ground cover. Bright and glossy green leaves with pink flowers in April and May popular with pollinators and hummingbirds. Red fruits persist well into fall and winter. Fruit is edible but semi tasteless, however local birds and wildlife enjoy the fruit, especially in winter. Leaves turn red-bronze in winter for spectacular winter interest. Drought tolerant. Full sun to partial shade. Ht. 6-12in
