This is a mix of summer lettuce varieties. They won't bolt (start to make a flower and set seed - causing lettuce to turn bitter) in the summer as quickly as some varieties.
Harvest as cut-and-come-again: cut mature lettuce head one to two inches above soil level and it will regrow!
After harvesting is done and plants begin to bolt, let one of the best heads go to flower and set seed and you will have self seeded lettuce starts and saved seed to share with the whole neighborhood!
