Pepper, sweet 'Peace Bell'

Capsicum annuum. Green to Red. 80 days. Peace Bell is a big red bell pepper with that classic blocky bell shape and sweet, tasty fruit. Peace Bell grow into tall plants that are dense and loaded with fruit. The large yields can be heavy for the plants, so we recommend staking or tying them up to help avoid broken branches. Good leaf cover reduces the ubiquitous sun-scald problems that can afflict many bell pepper varieties. Peace Bell continually ripens fruit all the way until frost. Good flavor and culinary characteristics, whether used green or red. They are great stuffed, stir fried, and raw in salads. Bred over the last decade by Peace Seeds and Peace Seedlings in Corvallis, Oregon.
