Fragrant green foliage heavily splashed with golden-yellow, forming a low evergreen mound. Spikes of violet-blue flowers appear in early summer. Full sun. Ht. 8-16in
Sage leaves can be used fresh for cooking and for tea, and for other medicinal recipes (such as mouthwash). I dry sage leaves in a small table top dehydrator for use as seasoning (my favorite with butternut squash) and to add to herbal tea mixes.
