Strawflower, Scarlet

Xerochrysum bracteatum. 75 days. The blooms of Scarlet Strawflower are a vibrantly rich, lovely red with a touch of gold, making this everlasting great for bouquets, wreaths, garlands, and many other creative uses. Blossoms grow to 2″ across, occasionally forming clusters, and bloom right up until frost (or even later!). Plants grow to 5′ tall and 3′ wide. For best results as an everlasting, be sure to harvest before flowers have fully opened, dry well, and store in a dry location.
