Mexican tarragon

Tagetes lucida. Not your average tarragon. Also known as Mexican marigold or mint marigold. Compact mounding perennial with unique anise-like flavor (try all three tarragons and compare!). Leaves and flowers can be used for culinary and medicinal uses. Flowering in late summer - the cutest little lemon yellow marigolds, similar to a gem marigold.
