Stachys officinalis (woundwart) Herbaceous hardy perennial. This moisture-loving plant is a clumper, making a lush mound that flowers in multiple upright racemes red-purple. Generally made into a tea of the dried herb or a tincture of the fresh herb. Traditional usage (TWM): acute or chronic pain, addiction. Space 2 feet apart. Flowers from 2 to 3 feet tall.
